USA | Large Theme Park Night Lighting & Immersive Night Tourism Illumination Project
This project is a large-scale nighttime lighting and illumination upgrade for a theme park in the United States, integrating amusement attractions, landscape lighting, and immersive visual experiences into a unified night tourism system. The design objective is to reconstruct the spatial identity of the park after sunset, transforming it into a visually dynamic and commercially engaging nighttime destination.
At the center of the park stands a fairytale-style castle, serving as the primary visual landmark. The castle façade is equipped with multi-layer architectural lighting, RGB pixel lighting systems, and dynamic projection effects, enabling color transitions, thematic animations, and seasonal lighting modes. This creates a powerful visual focal point visible across the entire park.
Surrounding the castle, water features and plaza areas are integrated with synchronized lighting and projection mapping systems, enhancing depth perception and creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The interaction between water reflections and lighting effects further strengthens the immersive environment.
The Ferris wheel functions as a secondary iconic landmark. It is equipped with contour lighting and segmented control systems that allow for rotating light animations, making it highly visible from long distances and reinforcing its identity as a city-scale attraction. The roller coaster structure is enhanced with linear LED lighting and dynamic chase lighting effects, emphasizing motion and speed.
The themed zones and attraction areas are connected through continuous lighting pathways, forming a coherent nighttime circulation system. Pedestrian areas use warm ambient lighting combined with decorative installations to ensure both safety and aesthetic appeal. Different zones are assigned distinct lighting themes, including fantasy, futuristic, and entertainment styles, providing visitors with diverse immersive experiences.
In addition, the project emphasizes the concept of “immersive night economy,” integrating lighting with live performances, parades, and interactive installations. This significantly increases visitor dwell time and boosts commercial value. The lighting system is equipped with intelligent control capabilities, allowing operators to adjust scenes based on seasons, events, and visitor flow.
