City background
Jinan, or “Ji” for short, or “Quancheng” for short, is the capital of Shandong Province, one of the 15 sub-provincial cities in the country, and the political, cultural, and educational center of Shandong Province. Known as “the lotus on all sides and three willows, one city with mountains and half city with lake”.
Jinan has a warm temperate climate with warm and balanced four seasons and good night travel conditions.

In the small town of the magic world, there is a magic school, where you can experience and learn all kinds of magic, venture through levels to become a qualified little knight, little magician, little elf… and get medals. Light Dream Journey
The graceful lighting situation, the ups and downs of the story, the integration of stage art, the dynamic light and shade, and the colorful colors attract tourists to immerse themselves, extend the time of tourists in the park, increase the number of people in the park, rekindle secondary consumption, and stimulate the night economy.

Magic town
In the entrance area, the magic town transitions visitors from an immutable daily life to a dreamland where magic still exists.

A ray of blue “dragon light” whizzed along the towering buildings, mysterious and unpredictable. The “virtual world in the sky” in the entrance area summons the longing of visitors, and the journey of light dreams begins.

According to the building structure, the tower base, tower body, and tower top lighting are planned into three levels: near vision, far vision, and skyline. The near vision creates the lighting details, the far vision creates the light outline, and the skyline raises the height of the light.
The distinct light levels and the cruising blue dragon light make the magic town at night lofty, awe-inspiring, noble and sacred.

The lighting of the flying theater consists of three modes: normal operation, film preparation and theme activities. Different lighting modes interpret dramatic lighting situations and reshape the wonderful storyline of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”.

The brightness of the light gradually increases from the bottom of the building to the top, and the visual focus hits the spire. The pointed pearl shaped by white light is like a bright and dazzling magic wand, showing its lofty power and status.

The mysterious Philosopher’s Stone was out of control and burst into a strange light. The evil monster took the opportunity to snatch the magic stone.

In order to guard the Philosopher’s Stone, Harry Potter and others painstakingly practiced magic, and finally, under the guidance of Principal Dumbledore, the light of magic enveloped the entire building, expelled the demons and controlled the Philosopher’s Stone.

PortAventura tells the fearless pirates, using the Mediterranean as their playground, plundering treasures and celebrating their trophies in their villages.

Warm lighting mainly emphasizes the theme of “Harbor”, vividly depicting the lively and rough lighting experience of fishing ports, markets and fishing villages.

Normal operation mode: The comfortable yellow warm light creates the lively, peaceful and comfortable feeling of the fishing port before the sea.

Playback preparation mode: blue and green lights shine, symbolizing the pirate ship sailing. The blood drop projection slowly appeared, dim, gloomy, and horrible.

Themed activity mode: A late night in the sailing, thunder and lightning, navigation lights flickering and shaking, and skeleton sails swinging wildly. Horror and tension arose spontaneously.

From the viewpoint of 24 meters, you can observe the overall appearance of the theater.
From a short distance of 12 meters, the shadow of the pirate window and the skull projection at the entrance flicker faintly, and the lighting details are prominent.

Design summary：
The rise of the night travel economy makes lighting no longer a simple and dispiriting sightseeing tour. Through the planning of the story situation, the lighting is interpreted as a dream journey, which is full of wit and delay.
The development of lighting in the night tour is divided into two stages. The first stage is for lighting and viewing purposes. The second stage is expressed as the richness of the tour content and the overall experience. Therefore, night tour lights are not simply lights emitting light, but are combined with integrated multimedia technology, light and shadow, music, smoke, video projection, interactive installations and other elements to create a series of life-like stories that attract tourists to stop and stay.
